The NC Law, Rules, and Legal Concepts Course is one of three mandatory 30-hour Post-licensing courses that newly licensed North Carolina provisional brokers must complete within 18 months of licensure. This course aims to provide advanced instruction on essential topics beyond those covered in Pre-licensing courses. Key topics include:
- Commercial real estate brokerage
- Residential property management
- Land use controls
- Loan fraud
- Brokerage compensation issues
- License law issues and case studies
- Selected fair housing issues and case studies
- Establishing a brokerage firm
- Manufactured and modular homes
- Issues related to short sales
Post-licensing courses are taught live via Zoom, therefore students are required to have stable high-speed internet, a device capable of accessing Zoom platform and resources. as well as webcam and microphone for student interaction.
Class sessions will be held Monday - Friday from 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM
