The Broker Relationships and Responsibilities course is one of the three mandatory 30-hour Post-licensing courses that newly licensed North Carolina provisional brokers must complete within 18 months of licensure. The course aims to provide advanced instruction on topics of special importance to licensees, beyond what is covered in Pre-licensing courses. Topics include:
- A review of agency relationships in real estate sales transactions and a broker’s legal duties to clients and customers.
- A step-by-step guide to the functions and responsibilities of a real estate broker working with residential sellers and buyers.
- Issues associated with transactions in progress when a broker leaves a firm.
- License status and education requirements.
Post-licensing courses are taught live via Zoom, therefore students are required to have stable high-speed internet, a device capable of accessing Zoom platform and resources. as well as webcam and microphone for student interaction.
Class sessions will be held Monday - Friday from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
